General Terms of Service
1. Introduction
These General Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all airport transfer services, business tours, family tours, and licensed taxi transportation services across Finland.
By using or booking our services, the Customer agrees to comply with these Terms. Our offerings include seamless Helsinki airport transfers, business transportation,
and tailored family tours in Finland.
2. Definitions
- Service Provider: Any company offering airport transfer, taxi services, or guided tours in Finland.
- Customer: The individual or business booking or using the Service Provider’s services.
- Services: Include pre-arranged airport transfers, business tours, family tours, and licensed taxi services using compliant vehicles under Finnish law.
3. Scope of Services
- The Service Provider offers Helsinki airport transfers, business and family tours throughout Finland, and other transportation services. All services are provided using licensed vehicles in accordance with Finnish transportation laws.
- Our services are available upon pre-booking and subject to vehicle availability. Customers can book airport transfers and tours through our online platform or by contacting us directly.
4. Booking and Confirmation
- Bookings must be made through the website, mobile app, or phone. Pre-booking guarantees service availability for airport transfers, taxi services, and guided tours in Finland.
- Upon confirmation, the Customer will receive details, including pickup location, time, and payment options. It is the Customer’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of all information.
5. Payments
- Full payment is required at the time of booking, unless the “pay to the driver” option is selected.
- Payment methods include credit cards, bank transfers, and other online platforms recognized by the Service Provider.
- Exception: If “pay to the driver” is selected, payment may be made directly to the driver in cash or card at the time of service. This option is available for airport taxi transfers and other services where applicable.
- Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking, except when the “pay to the driver” option is chosen.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
- Free cancellations are available for bookings canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
- Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 10 business days. Refunds exclude any processing fees charged by payment systems or banks.
7. Amendments to Booking
- Customers may request changes to their Helsinki airport transfer or other bookings up to 24 hours before the service, subject to availability.
- Changes requested within 24 hours of service may incur additional charges, depending on availability and operational constraints.
8. No-Show Policy
- For airport transfers, if the Customer does not arrive at the pickup location within 1 hour of flight landing, the booking will be considered a “no-show,” and no refund will be issued.
- For train station or port pickups, the Customer has 30 minutes from the scheduled arrival time to meet the driver, failing which the booking is considered a “no-show.”
- For pickups at hotels or other locations, the Customer has 15 minutes to arrive at the agreed location before the service is marked as a “no-show.”
Extended Waiting Time
- Waiting time can be extended by mutual agreement between the Customer and the driver, at an additional charge calculated according to the extra waiting time rates.
- For the extension to be confirmed, the Customer must communicate with the driver and agree to pay for the additional waiting time.
9. Service Provider’s Responsibilities
- The Service Provider ensures that all vehicles comply with Finnish safety and licensing regulations for airport transfers, business tours, and licensed taxi services.
- While the Service Provider will make every effort to provide services punctually, it is not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond its control, including traffic, weather, or force majeure.
- If a vehicle breakdown or operational failure occurs, the Service Provider will arrange an alternative vehicle at no additional cost.
10. Customer’s Responsibilities
- The Customer must provide accurate details when booking airport transfers or tours in Finland and ensure they are on time at the designated pickup location.
- The Customer is responsible for informing the Service Provider of any special requirements (e.g., child seats, excess luggage) at the time of booking.
- The Customer is liable for any damages caused to the vehicle by themselves or their passengers, and repair costs will be billed to the Customer.
11. Liability
- The Service Provider is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the services, except where liability cannot be excluded under Finnish law.
- The Service Provider’s liability for direct loss is limited to the amount paid by the Customer for the booking.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
- The Service Provider will handle personal data in compliance with GDPR and Finnish data protection regulations.
- Personal data will not be shared with third parties unless necessary for the provision of services (e.g., sharing with drivers for pickups).
13. Force Majeure
The Service Provider is not liable for service failures due to force majeure events, including natural disasters, government actions, or strikes.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Finnish law, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
15. Modifications to Terms
- The Service Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms. Customers will be notified of any significant changes affecting their bookings.
- Continued use of services following modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
- Complaints must be submitted within 30 days after the service. The Service Provider will make every effort to resolve complaints quickly.
- If the dispute cannot be resolved internally, it may be escalated according to Finnish consumer protection laws.
